After 3 rounds of 2016 SL1/NW competition, Altona Magic find themselves sitting on equal first with Westgate on 9 points, not having conceded any goals.
R1 Cairnlea 0-1 Altona Magic
R2 Altona Magic 5-0 Diamond Valley
R3 Banyule 0-1 Altona Magic

Over the past month the team has also partaken in the Westfield FFA CUP where it downed local club Hoppers Crossing 4-0 at home, then away to NPL1 side Ballarat where we saw a strong and determined Altona Magic outfit beating the home side 4-1 in a game that saw many chances go begging for the Magic.

Within a matter of nights, the team will face its biggest challenge yet as they face former NSL and state giant South Melbourne FC at Paisley Park this Wednesday night @ 7:30PM under lights. The coaching staff is determined to prove their teams worth as they have nothing to lose, but everything to gain in a game with tradition and history.

With a large crowd expected, please make sure you arrive on time.
